2025 Salon Top Category of Awards

Medals:  Gold, Silver & Bronze

Judges will review all top-scoring images in a minimum of four sections and determine the winners of these awards.  Each entrant is limited to only one medal in the top category of awards.

There will three regional awards that will be awarded in 2025 based on the location of the photographer:

• Americas Photographer of the Year 2025: Includes participants from North America, Central America, and South America
• Europe/Africa Photographer of the Year 2025:  Includes participants from countries in Europe and Africa.
• Asia/Pacific Photographer of the Year 2025:  Includes countries in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Judges will review all top-scoring images in a minimum of four sections and determine the winners of these awards.  Each entrant is limited to only one medal in the top category of awards.  This award category requires a minimum of 20 eligible participants from the region for this award to be activated.

Acknowledges that an image has met the technical requirements and quality standards specified by the section definition.  Acceptance rate will be no more than 20 to 20%.
